  2. Center the code in the frame. It is read automatically and the camera turns off.
  3. Check the content, then copy it or press Open link for web addresses.

Frequently asked questions

Is my camera feed or image uploaded?

No. Video and images are processed only on your device and are never sent or stored. The camera turns off as soon as a code is read or you switch tabs.

Why won't my camera turn on?

Make sure you allowed camera access in your browser and that no other app is using the camera. If the camera is not available, take a photo of the code and use Choose image.

Do links open automatically?

No. To protect you from phishing, the address is shown first and only opens in a new tab when you press Open link. The button only appears for http and https addresses.

Can it read barcodes?

It reads QR codes only. Product barcodes and other 1D barcodes are not supported.
